Attended for DC winter restaurant week. Had a great selection of food on the restaurant week menu. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and great at providing suggestions. He was very attentive and personable. Ordered the deviled eggs, brick chicken, and peanut butter pie. I also ordered an Old Fashioned which was perfectly made as well.
Great atmosphere. Excellent and quick service. Food was well seasoned. Party of 12, waiter was great. Artichoke beignets were surprisingly very good. Ribeye broiled to order was perfect.
Nice location, convenient for dinner prior to a show at National Theatre.
Food was good, and the prix fixe menu was a good bargain.
Butternut Squash soup was a nice 1st course.
The pork chop was terrific, good flavor, almost steak-like.
Nice size, very juicy, cooked perfectly.
The accompanying apple and sweet potato hash was kind of bland.
The Peanut Butter Chocolate pie was very good, not overly sweet.
The steak salad was also a good entree.
The mushroom gnocchi was a fresh, in a nice rich sherry cream sauce.
The sticky toffee cake was very heavy, maybe a little too sweet.
Great food an atmosphere. Our server was amazing. She made sure that everything was perfect. She provided excellent recommendations for entrees and drinks. I will definitely return.
