Great place for lunch!!! Food is very delicious! I had the sampler with clam chowder. Great soup and sandwich combo!! Fast and friendly staff.
Aside from Luke’s never disappointing in their food... Ms. Jasmin (sp?) working the cash register is a ray of sunshine! I would come back 100 times over just to interact with her, and her delightful attitude. Good help is hard to find these days and she is an absolute gem! Thanks for the best service we have ever experienced at Luke’s :)
We popped in on a rainy Sunday and had excellent, quick service. The staff was very friendly, guiding us through the process of ordering (it was our first time at a Luke's Lobster). Easy peasy: two lobster rolls. They were sweet and delicious, as one should be. The two staffers chatted with us about the history of the company, too. Glad to know we have one in San Francisco now!
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. First time I had a lobster roll so I have nothing to compare. The bun, seasoning and mayo we're good. The crab meat on the other hand seemed to be all claw meat, a bit chewy and quite flavorless, but there was a lot of it. I thought it was very pricey. $37 for 2 servings.
I got a lobster roll and the poppy seed slaw. Both were awesome! I liked that there was very little mayo if at all in both the lobster roll and the slaw. Lobster was fresh, roll was perfectly toasted (just enough to get a little crunch but predominantly very soft and buttery!). Great spot for lunch. I'll definitely come back!
