Looks small on the outside, but has a nice bar area on the inside and upstairs seating with a great view of H street. Plates are a bit small, so you'll probably want to get a starter (for which the bread is very good!). I really like the lamb meatballs and the pork ragu (20 bucks). Love the al dente pasta.
The service was excellent! I ordered the lamb meatballs with a side of cauliflower and everything was seasoned very well. The plates are on the smaller side so don't expect to get full from one plate and a side
Mediterranean place with bar downstairs and extra seating upstairs. The upstairs area is gorgeous, and a cheaper alternative to Maketto if you want a place to work during the day. The flight of three spreads is always delicious and surprisingly filling. Their soups are excellent as well. One of the best restaurants on H street, hands down!
The venue decor is pretty cute with lovely plants hanging in the French windows. My friend and I came at 1pm for brunch and there was plenty of room to sit at the bar. The food was really good. I had the omelette and my friend had the pork sandwich. We topped it off worn the Htipi spread and cauliflower. All great tasting. However, the service was pretty slow. Took forever to receive our drinks and they ran out of both lamb and pork hash. The cocktails were just meh. Decent visit but not a place to put on the books for repeat.
Popped in for dinner on a Tuesday night. Service was great & so was the food! Porchetta sandwich was very good, and would highly recommend the flight of spreads. Great date night spot
