District Taco - Metro Center

District Taco is a build-your-own taco place. You select your taco shell, add your protein, your taco fillings, choose your sauces and any other items. They also have on the side a salsa bar where there are different salsas of varying intensity. All this is unlimited and included in the price. But the food is not the best, and the prices are on the high side, probably because it is in Washington D.C. So overall an okay place.

One of my favorite places to stop after work for dinner. Seldom a long wait and the tacos are quite delicious. Whenever there has been an order issue management has made right. Do keep your receipt thought. Especially if you get a to-go order.

Love district taco! This location is one of the busiest I've ever seen. The food here is wonderful. I order online usually and pick it up to go. There is seating on the 2nd level but it's very small! Best of luck if your aim is to eat inside but if you order to go it's a great spot.

My 3 star rating was based more upon not knowing how/what to order. This was my first time in a District Taco, I had a taste for fish tacos and saw they were on the menu. I was a little overwhelmed by the ordering process of selecting a dressing for the tacos that would be complimentary with the fish. Not wanting to hold up the line with my indecision, I asked for a recommendation from the cashier and she offered the "American Way" and I went with it.
The tacos were excellently made with fresh ingredients. I really liked the grilled fish flavor. I wasn't real pleased with the lettuce as a compliment to the fish. I think I would have preferred the cabbage slaw and cilantro instead.
I'll visit District Taco again and try to get my selection right next time!

My daughter took me to District Taco for lunch today. I got the build your own tacos with chicken and it was delicious. I'm pretty much put everything in them. It was a good side tacos. I got 2 tacos and I was so full. I can see why so many people like the tacos here.
