Ruth's Chris Steak House

I was extremely disappointed. This was not the Ruth Chris experience that I'm used to. We had reservations, but were seated behind several people who walked in behind us. We were given a table in a tight corner on the second floor. I felt like our waiter was rushing us and was not very attentive. He never refilled our glasses. I've always loved Ruth Chris, but not in DC.

It is really the best place to have a good dining experience.

It’s hard to go wrong with Ruth’s Chris, and this trip was no exception. I had my usual petite filet medium rare with a blue cheese crust. Perfection. My husband usually tops his with a lobster tail. As a very special treat, because our son was with us, we ordered the lobster mac-n-cheese as one of our sides. Y’all. I could have rolled around in it. It was absolutely what I imagine heaven will be like. I ate an embarrassing amount of it and enjoyed every last bite. Even after dinner when I realized how stuffed I was, I looked at my husband and said, “it was totally worth it.” If you’re going to be bad... make it count. Get the lobster mac-n-cheese. Thank me later.

Perfect lamb chops! The place itselt is very quite and dim lights work perfect for a date night. Food was exceptional! Appetizers came in quickly and were delicious. Prime meat was everything you can expect! Love the place and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Excellent Thanksgiving dinner! The turkey was moist and divine. Sausage stuffing was well seasoned. The atmosphere and service were perfect. Thank you, Simon.
