    My family has lived in Washington DC since the late 30’s. As things are ever changing, I love to occasionally stroll around the neighborhood to see what’s new. I came across Marrakech on Georgia Ave and I’m so glad I did. The food, the coziness..... it was PERFECTION. The flavors are unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. The decor makes me feel like I’m on vacation. Rich tones balanced with shades of gold. I’m not even familiar with Morrocan food but now I want it everyday. If you’re looking to try something new or even just to sip some drinks and smoke some hookah (you can’t even smell it in the restaurant; especially not over all the fragrant food) this is definitely the place.
