I was hungry after walking around so wanted to get a quick bite and beer. Quality of their food,BBQ, was great. WARNING. Portion is very small. I had a Pit Master, good for sampling their ribs (2), brisket , chicken (very small), and sausage. It comes with two sides. Plater is 30 dollars. No cornbread. But, you can purchase 2 for three dollars. I decided not to. Overall not bad. I was here around 3-4pm. Not sure if I will return, but maybe tell my friends about it, just in case they want BBQ when visiting the tourist sites in DC. Bartender was very good and courteous.

This is a great place to eat. All the food here is delicious. The brisket here is fantastic. Plus, they have a bar downstairs with live music and sometimes live band karaoke. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fun BBQ spot between Archives and Gallery Place metro stops. The happy hour offers tasty nibbles and potent drinks and live music on the lower level after 8p! Definitely check it out and enjoy the offerings!

Delicious BBQ at a fair price. It was some of the freshest BBQ with amazing BBQ sauce. They have the classic foods with unique flavors. Loved the bourbon sweet potato dish and green beans. Would definitely recommend

I ordered my food to go. It was interesting. They let you sample before buying. I walked in since I was close by and wasn't given much direction on how to order or what to do. I bought way too much food since I wanted to try it out. The corn pudding was a bit spicy to me so I can't eat it. Mac and cheese is okay. Turkey is slightly dry. Short rib was good but so much fat. Brisket was good but I wish it was cut thinner for me so it would be easier to eat. Cornbread is given with some kind of butter that tastes like cinnamon. Overall it is good. But I don't think I would come back since I've had better.
