    Matisse is a warm and inviting restaurant with friendly, efficient service and fantastic food.

    Delicious food. Went here with a party of 12 for lunch and they sat us upstairs. Very charming decor. All enjoyed their meals!

    Excellent diverse menu with an extensive wine list and wonderful desserts!

    I was recommended Matisse by a friend. The chef is Swiss which I took as a very good sign for excellent quality. Indeed, we were not disappointed: the table booked for dinner for two was ready at 8pm, the waiters very attentive, and the food served delicious.

    I highly recommend this restaurant! Prices are not exaggerated.

    Had brunch there today. Menu had a fine selection without being overwhelming. Prices were reasonable & in line with Bethesda/Chevy Chase prices. Great ambiance, friendly wait staff and the food was very good! I will return soon.
