We had an excellent meal here. Interesting flavors and beautiful presentation. Great service. Only drawback was that all the hard surfaces made it quite loud. I'd still go back.

Food and service was first class. The hostess was warm and friendly. Our waiter wss extremely attentive without being pushy and the food was great. I had the American son Burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Decor was on par with today's interiors designs.

Absolutely among the top 3 dining experiences I had in DC. Quality of the food is superb, as are the ideas behind the dishes - very innovative. Service is fast and courteous. Prices are high but not too high, definitely worth it.

I had a great lunch at American Son! Would recommend to reserve a table beforehand. Service was excellent, very attentive! I’m pescatarian and, surprisingly, there were so many dishes for veggie lovers at American cuisine restaurant! Such a great, well-managed venue! Will definitely come back.

Came here for breakfast during the weekday to try the Rice Porridge. Love the rich mushroom flavor and the acidity complements the porridge well. Wish they served this on weekends. Also tried the Chinese Five Spice Monkey King Bread which was delicious with coffee. Seating area is chic and calming to the senses - warm wood with brass tones create a cozy atmosphere.
