    Consistently delicious with excellent service; Blue44 is a secret gem in the Chevy Chase DC neighborhood. Owner and Pittsburgh native Chris delivers a grand slam of recurring hits. The bistro chicken is not to be missed on a cool fall or winter evening. The dry old bay-seasoned wings are always a winner. The arugula salad is dressed with a hint of lemon and thin-sliced ricotta and so fresh.

    Always fresh, tasty American food. Creative daily grilled cheese specials and Monday fried chicken blue plate are the best!

    Used to come here every weekend but lately the food leaves something to be desired. The chicken is dry and the dishes less flavorful in general. The drinks definitely aren't as generously strong. It's disappointing.

    The food here never disappoints. Nothing mind blowing, but simple, nothing saturated nor exaggerated; just the way food should be. We've only eaten here twice even though we live a block away from the restaurant. The flavors are always clean and fresh. It's a nice refresher from all the other restaurants in the area with all the intense flavors and mixed cuisine that we have in the city. The service was quick and friendly. Both of out visits were hassel free, never had to wait to get served. Very convenient, warm, friendly, and most importantly good food!
