Very unique restaurant! First time trying Serbian food. They have an option where they bring out literally almost everything on the menu in small quantities for you to try. Worth doing, but you might get full before you finally pick!:)

Just delicious with excellent service. Shout out to Andre, our server, and Maria the bartender! Highly recommend the prix fixe meal, which includes house wines and cocktails. Ample courses were served for which I lost count of. In addition one gets a taste of everything.

My favorite place to grab an intimate dinner with a friend. “Balkan experience” is 10/10. I always get it without the drinks since I’m not much of a drinker and in that case the price per person for unlimited small plates is $40. For a special occasion in the city this really can’t be beat. Everything is delicious. The “experience” doesn’t include dessert, but if you can splurge for the “forest cake,” DO IT. One of the strangest yet most complex flavor profiles I’ve ever enjoyed. I cannot shout the praises of Ambar enough! Be sure to make a reservation and be conscientious of the 2 hour table limit when they are busy.

I typically would not have gone to a restaurant like this because tapas restaurants usually have small plates that are expensive and I leave hungry. However Ambar has a great deal where you can have unlimited plates and drinks for $49. That might sound like a lot but I ate $49 worth of food plus the drinks I consumed. The food was AMAZING!!! Our server Milos was AWESOME!!! He recommended great plates and took great care of us. I'm very glad I tried something different and that Ambar has the unlimited special.

A Serbian restaurant, that offers a great choice of food. The popular thing to do at this place is to pay 20 dollars per person and you can order anything you like from the menu. Food is then served in small plates and you can try so many different dishes which are really delicious. Also, if you like something so much, you can reorder, so no one will be left hungry. Drinks are not included in the price. Deffinately recommend giving this place a go!
