This restaurant is phenomenal, which is what you’d expect from the masters at Bombay Street Food. Consistently pleasant service and the best butter chicken I’ve ever ate for an awesome value. If you want butter chicken this is your best option in the city.
This is a fantastic place to get takeaway during the shutdown: you don't even have to order ahead - just turn up and you will have your food in no time! The food is really delicious, and the portions are really big so it's great value for money. We love both the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala. The staff are very friendly too.
Great value for the price! Well spiced!
Excellent customer service.
Will definitely be back.
Thanks for being flexible during these difficult times.
Portions were great, but unfortunately everything was way too spicy for me (I am a wimp with spicy foods, so this may not be an issue for others). I've only ever had mild butter chicken and viewed it as a reliable non-spicy dish, so I was very surprised at my first bite! I also asked the person serving me for the mildest sides and they still ended up being too spicy for me (I chose paneer and biryani). I still ate everything because flavors were good, but slightly unpleasant experience.
Despite the limited menu being a little sad (Only 1 major vegetarian entree) this food is absolutely delicious. I wish I could order just a side of the vegetable rice sometimes when I'm coming home because the meal size is very large and sometimes all I want is a little order of the veggie rice. An order is an entree with 2 sides and the portion is big enough that I can easily save half of it for a later meal or lunch the next day. Best Paneer I've ever had actually. The food is probably a little spicy for white people and wimps like myself but it clears my sinuses and makes me feel warm for the rest of the day during this chilly winter weather so I'm not really complaining.
