Great food and wine! Highly recommend the scallops and gnocchi. We got two tasting menus and two wine tastings. Everything was fabulous. Would recommend definitely getting the food tasting menu, then either a glass of wine or the wine tasting. Our waitress was so kind and thoughtful. Definitely recommend a visit.

Wine, food and service is all top notch. We went for our 12th anniversary and had the omnivore tasting menu. I got the Virginia wine pairing. Nearly all the courses were excellent but neither of us loved the dessert course. The price point ($175/per person) is only a special occasion for us. In summary we loved the place but the price is prohibitive.

Excellent all the way thru — went for my girlfriends birthday & truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in DC in quite some time.

We both did the omnivore, and had one of each of the wine pairings. We will for sure be back.

Had an absolutely delicious meal this weekend with my husband - we both had the vegetarian tasting menu with matching Virginia wine tasting. Everything was fantastic - such perfectly balanced dishes, really letting the particular ingredients sing. The wine pairings were also really well considered to compliment the flavors and texture of each dish. Galette was a standout - must have a good pastry chef! Will be coming back to enjoying some cocktails as the menu looks interesting and the bar area has a really chill vibe. Awesome addition to the H St food scene - 10/10.

What a delightful restaurant. We went there the first day they opened and were impressed by the service, food, and wine. They do a seasonal tasting menu with optional wine pairings - either Virginia wines or global wines. The real stand out for us on the tasting menu was the beef bourguignon, which had a rich, complex flavor and little sweet carrots to balance it out. But everything was good (great, even). I think I preferred the Virginia wine tasting menu over the global one only because it was fun to learn about wines relatively close to DC.

My only complaints were that one dish was left off of our tasting menu without anyone mentioning it to us and service was a bit slow - we were there for about 2.5 hours for dinner (which is fine - I just wish the food had come out faster). But considering it was their very first day neither of those things are a big deal. My other complaint, probably not a complaint for most, is that I would have been happier with one less glass of wine. For me it was so much wine that I couldn't finish all of the tasting glasses. So if you do the pairing prepare to not drive home! Overall we loved this restaurant and think it's a great addition to H street.
