I went to this place opening night . The crabs were good. The only thing that was missing was an actual dock where you can watch ships go by, but I do appreciate the ability to get my crab shack fix when I can't take a trip to the shore. The mobile ordering/payment system was easy enough to use.

I wasn't too excited about the sides. No hush puppies or fries. I tried the crab mac & cheese, but the cheese was flavorless (possibly to balance the taste of the crab and Old Bay?) and had an odd texture. Anyway, I wasn't a fan of that.

I wish I could give this 5 stars, but they need to revisit their side dishes.

Started off w a local brew, which is always a nice option and I appreciate supporting small/local businesses. First thing we got was the shrimp cocktail – VERY fresh and large shrimps. I saw the crab mac n cheese at someone else’s table and it looked amazing, so we ordered it and SO GLAD we did. Delicious side dish and we could have definitely ordered another. The old bay slaw was also a really strong side dish.

As for the crabs, they were cooked perfectly, and I loved the seasoning/rub. Overall, the place was great, and everyone was super friendly. Coming back again for sure, maybe with a large group next time to order more and share everything!

Really enjoyed my first trip to Chesapeake. Great local beers and the crabs were awesome, great seasoning and cooked perfectly. The crab mac and cheese was a unique and flavorful addition to our meal. I will definitely be back here often!

I’m leaving a 3 stars review based on the customer service and kindness of the staff, especially the bartender Ni, she was awesome. The crabs are way overpriced and they are selling medium size for jumbos, and the taste is just ok.

I ordered 1/2 Dz crabs, 1 crab Mac & cheese, and 2 drinks for $149. So this place is selling crabs for nearly $200 a dozen which is absurd for the size. I eat crabs (Bethesda crab house) all the time, so I am use to paying at the least about $135 a dz for large and trust me, they are large. If I do go back to Chesapeake it’ll be solely for the bar.
