Taqueria Xochi

My god these tacos are amazing and the Birria tacos that you dip in a gravy/juice are to die for! They are juicy, full of flavor, not too salty, and stuffed. These tacos are an ultimate stop in DC to satisfy those taste buds!!!

Good pop up located in U street. Currently doing takeout orders only via online - so cannot walk up and order.

Tacos were good, and so were the chips. Salsas could have had a bit more flavor.

Quesobirria tacos were yummy- first time having them so not sure how they match up against others. The guacamole was really good and came with a huge portion of tortilla chips. Takeout was seamless (order ahead and walk up to a pickup window). I’d definitely order again.

These the BEST tacos in DC, without a doubt. The birria is to die for, supremely flavorful and really filling. I haven't tried a lot of the other dishes, but I'm on a mission to do so ASAP. The food here just tastes like home. Takeout experience as also exemplary - fast, smooth, no hassle. Can't recommend Taqueria Xochi enough.

As someone whos favorite all time food is Mexican food, this place by far takes the cake.

You will not find better tasting and more unique dishes anywhere else in the metro dc area or even on the east coast. Having been to central Mexico multiple times I can absolutely say Taqueria Xochi is more authentic than half the places I have been to in Mexico.

Please open one in Bethesda!!!!
