I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks. This one is good by the chain's standards. They move pretty quickly, and get you in and out in short order. Staff is friendly. They have an odd "exit only" door in the back that for some reason only open inward. It's a trendy location, so be prepared for trendy coffee people.
Very well located right at the center of Georgetown waterfront. Grab your hot fresh coffee before enjoying a nice walk along Potomac.
What a wonderful location on Dupont Circle! Two levels, very spacious. Nice place to sit down and get some work done, while you enjoy your coffee! One of the best Starbucks locations I have visited. Bathrooms could be better kept though!
I was in DC recently for work a few weeks back, and recall stopping in for a moment. I was surprised at how efficient they were able to utilize that small plot of triangular land. It almost looked clustered inside, but the seating opened up nicely and you have an easy view of the space as you go upstairs for more seating.
The staff was on-point as I observed a short rush of customers come in and haphazardly begin ordering. The baristas handled it well, and the cashier kindly corralled everyone into some semblance of a line.
Speaking of which, that might be one set back of this steam-punk looking space, a place that is clearly marked for customers to stand in a proper queue to place their order could be better marked out. The day O was there, it was a bit of a crowd near the front to place an order.
