Great family atmosphere and great food. My favorite is the meatloaf. Menu centers around traditional American cuisine. Food is very good reasonably priced, staff is friendly and fast, and place kept clean. Also they have an ice cream shop if you saved some room or just in the mood for a treat.
This place makes some killer burgers! they also have sweet potato fries which is always a plus. A few nights a week they have a balloon guy that comes around and makes animals for the kids for free!!!! Staff is kind, Tea is good. I do not go that way too often, but when i do I make sure I stop there. Never had a bad experience there.
Enjoyable diner food. Someone called the vibe similar to a Cracker Barrel, and I'd agree with that. One important thing to note is that it is located in the middle of the historic downtown, so if you're hauling a trailer like we were, you may find parking for your large pickup truck and trailer to be a bit of a challenge. Completely understandable, just want to call that out. We left full at a very reasonable price!
Food was delish, especially the Chili. Burgers are great! Cooked just as I asked. Great waitstaff...always coming back to ask how everything is and if we needed anything. Wonderful menu with plenty of choices. Great atmosphere in an old building in a small Florida town.
I would give this three stars based just on my meal, which was nicely cooked steak tips, amazing sweet potato fries, and good bread. Portion size good. Not happy with margarine instead of butter though and the broccoli was mushy. However, no one else in our party of 5 enjoyed theirs, especially my brother-in-law who ordered his steak medium well and it came over cooked, beyond well done, into the realm of shoe leather. It was almost closing time (9:00 on a Friday night?) so maybe that was why he wasn't offered a newly cooked one when he showed the waitress. All she did was apologize but then he didn't get a discount either. Maybe our experience would have been better if we had gone earlier in the evening.
Update: Family wanted to meet here and I am very glad we did! Constogas completely redeemed itself from our last visit. Steak perfectly seasoned and cooked, all the food was so delicious. We came early on a Saturday afternoon.
