MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza - Gainesville

Delicious made in house Gluten free crust available! Well worth the money. I splurged on the meat plate appetizer and was pleasantly surprised with the flavors.

Had an early dinner last night at Midici at Celebration Pointe. Really crowded before a concert and the staff was fantastic. Our waitperson/bartender, Michael, is also the manager. We were served right away at the bar, food service was excellent - fast, clean, efficient. Really well run restaurant and great food! Thank you, Michael, for making our visit outstanding.

Overall, not a terrible experience at Midici. I went on a Saturday night, and as expected, it was a little busy.

We ordered the shrimp scampi, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a nice and light pizza that had the perfect balance of toppings and sauce. When you first get it, you might mistake it for a salad because of the mountain of arugula on it, but believe me when I say, it’s perfect! It’s a little tricky to eat, but I enjoyed every bite of it.

Service wasn’t the best, but it’s also understandable considering the volume of customers. David was our server, but he never checked back on us. Instead, 3 other people came and went to our table, and I felt like I was imposing on other servers whenever I asked them for something I needed. The front of house just felt disorganized in general. As we were leaving, however, almost all of the cooks behind the counter greeted us goodbye, which was nice.

I've eaten here twice and both times have been amazing! We had Stephan as our waiter both times and he is awesome. One of the times was his birthday and he is a gem for working on his birthday. His awesome service and their excellent pizza is what will keep us coming back! Recommend the White Pizza with Italian Sausage!
