Pollo Tropical

Picked up food to take to family 3 hours away! We miss this food chain. We fell in love in S. Fla. We now live in N. Fla and love to stop in whenever we run across a restaurant in our travels! Food was great!

My family and I eat here twice a week. Food is always delicious and my kids love it! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Dining room family friendly and has wifi! Great place to go for great service and food!

The food was great! The customer service was not at all, not even a thank you when I finished placing my order. The windows were filthy, there were food crumbs at the bottom of the window...clearly had been there for many days... The seats at the booths weren't comfortable at all, they have worn out...lastly, the trashcan had a door that had fallen off and instead of placing it out of customer sight, it was right up against the stand...safety hazard if you ask me... If I were to go back again I would order to go unless there's improvement to it... I was not disappointed in the food rather on the poor customer service and cleanliness of the business.

Great restaurant! Extremely good tropical/Caribbean food. Great flavors & a staple of Gainesville.

Updated 03/30/19: Unfortunately, things have gone downhill for Pollo since my first review. It has been consistently dirty on the inside of the restaurant, the tables are often not cleared, and there is sticky residue from previous meals on them. The condiment bar has spills all over it. The customer service has also been disappointing lately. In addition, they do not seem to have all of the menu offerings available at all times. Overall, I have been increasingly disappointed with each subsequent visit.
