Dragonfly Sushi & Sake Company

This has been my favorite restaurant in Gainesville since it opened many moons ago. The seasonal drink and food menus are amazing and have been a great addition to the menu. The sushi menu and cooked meats are both worthy of eating your way through. The black cod is one of my favorite meals!
It's a great place for a romantic dinner or a family birthday dinner. Sit at the bar, sushi bar, or grab a table.

My son chose Dragonfly Sushi for his birthday dinner. The waitress was very good..and since a couple of us had not been before..she recommended that the four of us each order something different and share..Great decision! It was plenty of food and all four dishes were delicious. Will definitely go back.

So let me first start off by saying I went there on one of its busiest nights considering it was the Holidays. The wait was not excruciatingly long, and the hostesses were very attentive to the guests even as we were waiting to be seated. Once seated, our server was very lovely. She made sure to offer suggestions based on our taste preferences given we were first timers. Needless to say the food was absolutely AMAZING. I had Ramen (the broth was impeccable), and sushi, which tasted very fresh. 10/10 highly recommend for a romantic night out, or a casual lunch. Ambiance, food, and service was on par. Definitely will be returning!

Very good food, both sushi and menu items. Surprisingly good bourbon selection for an Asian restaurant, with very affordable pour prices.

Wait and bar staff very knowledgeable and able to guide you through their menu, and not afraid to modify both food and drink to suit your palate. They also do a small seasonal menu.

Have been there before, and will be there again.
