Krispy's Chicken Gainesville

Incredible! A local gem. Best fried catfish in town, perfectly breaded with delicious seasoning. I've been to many seafood places in town and this one surprisingly takes the cake for fried catfish. Seems to be a small business and I'm glad about that, because they take their time and put effort into all their dishes. Insanely good for a drive-thru spot. My favorite fried food fix and I keep coming back for more.

The best halal fried chicken in Gainesville. Very authentic and delicious. I always take the 10 piece chicken. They also have other varieties that you can explore.

My first visit, and it was worth the trip. I got the 2 piece lunch with potato wedges and little donuts (called dough balls), exactly as it is on the menu. The chicken had a light, crispy batter, and it was perfectly cooked. Juicy inside, and just right. The potato wedges were crispy outside and tender inside, with the right amount of seasoning. The little donuts were an unusual addition in my experience, but they were light and fluffy, and very tasty. The young lady at the walk-up window was very nice (the inside is temporarily closed), and I'll definitely pop back by soon.

This place was great. Stumbled across it accidentally while starving. My husband was thrilled to have gizzards, everything was delicious. The wait was a little long, but the workers were so nice and apologetic it didn't matter. Will be back!
