Alice Parkside Restaurant

Alice's is exactly what you want when visiting High Springs Florida. A very southern style, served with a down home feel at a certain reasonable price. A must experience as places like this won't be around much longer as corporations move in a tell you how you will like it.

We’ve had breakfast here on several occasions while traveling through. It is always delicious. Best bacon ever. And potatoes. Try it!

I've been going to Alice's for years. Even though Alice and Lola have passed on the food continues to still be delicious. Be sure to order one of their biscuits, they are homemade served hot and are yummy. My personal favorite is the breakfast croissant sandwich with crispy bacon, egg over medium( that way the yoke gets in all the cracks of the croissant) & crispy hash browns and a cup of fresh hot coffee.
They have some booths but mostly table's. There is a table to your left as you walk in where anybody can sit together. If you're new in town or just by yourself, come in as a stranger and leave as a friend. There is only one problem for me that I don't like and that is, Alice's does not serve breakfast after 11. Great little restaurant with down home cooking. Specials everyday. Easy to spot from road with enough parking. Handicap accessible. Wait staff was very busy when I arrived for lunch, but they handled it well. Food was good & hot when it arrived at my table. Very casual atmosphere. Mostly friendly locals who know each other and don't mind conversation.

My wife and I have eaten here many times over the years and have always had good food and good service. A lot of locals eat here and we always come back. They always have specials on the board and good country cooking. You won't be disappointed. Stop by and say hello
