We have been here several times & the experience has been different every time. One time we waited way too long for food, the next time was fine. Today we went in and the table they sat us at hadn't been wiped down at all and the seat was covered in food. They also didn't have their music on, which made for a quiet breakfast. The biscuits are terrible. It's almost like they tried to make their own recipe. It's definitely not a southern biscuit, it's more like bread. The food has been consistent tasty though, so they've got one good thing going for them.
Can't wait to go back for some more fried green tomatoes..best I ever had! Great service and that desert case was so hard to resist. The food was Awesome and the plated were overfilled. We had the hamburgers and house potatoes. I could not finish all of it and felt like a barrel that needed rolled out when I finished. WE will definitely go back to this little hole in the wall restaurant. You should try this place...really!!
This place was so delicious and they were more than accommodating. I only ended up paying 13$ and they brought me an endless veggie hash they call the hippie hash. That plate of food was so good and filling, I even had a good portion left that I took home. Also my girlfriend got a flavor packed tomato soup that was to die for, not to mention the bisctos that complimented the soup! I'm still mesmerized by the quality to price ratio in this place, it's definitely one of my new favorite hidden treasures. It's between three major national parks so if you happen to be near by it's definitely worth a small detour!
Fantastic food. Takes little longer to cook but for good reason. They’re actually cooking it not unfreezing something. Plus refreshing assortment of not fried food, a plus for area. Great strawberry lemonade I could drink buckets of. So glad to have found this place.
This place was great!! Me and my girlfriend went to Ginnie springs for the weekend and decided to come here to eat. We made a great decision! I had a sandwich that I want to say was called "the hog" but I don't remember, and my girlfriend had a flat bread. The were both amazing! Also I would recommend the fried green tomatoes, they're some of the best I've ever had! 10/10
