We went for the live flamenco dancing on a Friday night. We made reservations since there was entertainment, but I don't think it was actually necessary. Had the meat paella which was good but didn't seem authentic. I don't mean to say it wasn't tasty, just that if you're looking for authentic paella this isn't the place. Dancers were fantastic - loved all the styles of flamenco they did and the costume changes. Table service was disappointing and the reason I dropped a star. It wasn't terribly busy so that can't be why. Server just seemed distracted.
Came here with a group of 9 on a Wednesday for my birthday dinner. As someone who has been to Spain and had authenthic Paella, I was very excited to try something that could be similar. It was pretty slow on a Wednesday, which my friends and I were actually happy about because we didn't have much of a wait. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. There are awesome specials before 7pm so definitely check it out! I was very happy with my seafood paella as well. Will be coming again, maybe on a more lively night with Flamenco dancing.
Excellent food. The Paella entree, and pulpo appetizer was excellent.
The owner and food server were engaged with customers. Great atmosphere. Our foursome was very happy with every aspect of the presentation.
The cost of the dishes were higher.
Minus two stars for no socarrat on the paella.
Great food and wine selection. Great service and entertainment. However, when you are offering over 1/2 a dozen paellas on the menu and you specifically use a cooking method that doesn't allow for a crispy crust you have utterly failed.
Let me be clear: the rice dish I got was good. But to charge me over $50 for a rice dish I expect to pay for skillful execution. In this case I would expect the delicacy of a crispy crust. Granted, sometimes a chef has an off day and doesn't execute properly, but in this case the policy is to prepare the paella without a crust in order to save cookware. To charge me that much for some seasoned rice with meat is unacceptable. It really ruined the experience.
Hopefully they will change this foolish policy. I would be happy to give them a second chance.
Very disappointing.
Don’t miss this place, The food is fantastic! The place is fun and inviting whether seated inside or outside. Fair pricing and excellent service, they have the best authentic sangria. The owners were so pleasant and so was their staff. You won’t be disappointed.
