This is my new hang out. They got a cooler where you can just get up and grab your own beers. The food is top-notch, best collard greens in the area - massive hangover cure. Their wings are bangin.

All that and the service is still the best part. Everyone is super nice, the wait staff hangs out and talks with us at the table. The chef came out to check on the food. They don't mind that my toddler makes a mess and a racket. I love this joint.

Oh and they have live music!

This place is THE best in the area when it comes to burgers. Their burgers are SO GOOD. ❤ If you love an awesome deal, Thursday nights are burger nights. Burgers for $6, and you can add all the toppings you want, for a little extra, of course. But even if you add an extra $2 for toppings, it's really worth it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Their desserts are also made fresh daily. I've had their mixed berry cobbler, which was fantastic. Tonight, we had the deep fried snickers (picture added), and it was AMAZING. I give Hook & Eagle Tavern ten stars, really. We're already considering coming back for brunch on a Sunday. ❤ Staff is very attentive and sweet. Family-friendly atmosphere, and a great view of the golf course.

My daughter and I had lunch today at Hook and Eagle Tavern. Absolutely delicious. We split our sandwiches so we both got to try a bit of each. The Jacked up fries are to die for. She ordered the Barn Burn burger and it was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. I ordered the slap yo momma chicken sandwich. Super yummy but next time I’m going for the spicier version. Didn’t get our waitress name or the cooks who came out from the kitchen and said he is adding what he is calling Splitsville to the menu (he cut our sandwiches and plated them for us in the kitchen) will definitely be going back to try other menu items.

Huge improvement! The prior restaurant was more of a snack bar with metal chairs and inconvenient business hours (not open after work). It is now transformed into a neighborhood bar and restaurant with booths and high top tables. Beautiful view. Great beers on tap, and menu with real food. I've had $6 burger night on Thursday and Sunday brunch. The Sunday brunch included mimosa and the frittata was delicious. Service is a little slow, but that's common these days. Friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices for a satisfying meal. I'll be back.

Love love love this place! Staff is friendly, food is amazing! My favorite is the shrimp and grits - I have never eaten shrimp and grits this good! My husband got the chicken and waffles and he loved them! We started with the pimento and cheese dip which was out of this world! The bartender was accommodating and made us a drink she didn't know but hit it right on! We will go back...often!
