Excellent, fresh, medium-cooked burger on the patty melt, with an abundance of sauteed onions. The hand-cut fried pickles are among the best I've ever had. The fried green tomatoes suffered from the chef using tomatoes that had begun to ripen, thus losing the tangy flavor and firm texture a good fried green tomato calls for. My table mates enjoyed the hand-battered chicken fingers, said the seasoned fries are above average, but found the seasoned waffle fries just okay. Service for Saturday lunch was prompt, the restaurant clean, and the UNrenovated, tired restrooms gave me an odd nostalgia for the old Malibu's grill that previously was at this location.
I'll be back.

It was really good. The food was excellent. I would go again. We could not understand why it wasn't more crowded. But, good for us. Everyone there was very pleasant.

This is a great place. I love the food here. Last time I had a fried green tomato blt that was so full of bacon I could only eat half. The second half didn't go to waste, my husband snatched it up and munched it down. Incredible. Full service bar and a great staff. The menu has so many good choices it's hard to decide what to choose. Whatever you're hungry for there will be something to satisfy the hungries!

The food was very good. My wife got the shrimp and fries. She said the shrimp were excellent and the fries had a touch of seasoning that was perfect. I got the Rubin burger, the burger was outstanding the bread was actually very hard and not as good. I got the onion rings and they where very good. I think we will go there more often. One last thing was our server Angie great job very attentive and we never had to ask for her, she was just thrre.

I called this morning because I have dined here several times and told they have breakfast. The person that answered was unable to assist with finding a breakfast menu online (stated she knows nothing about the website) and that the rest of the menu was available after 1030. Well, people have bad days so maybe that was it but customer service (over the phone) was not what I am used to compared to when I visit here. Our order was also incorrect and then the vegetables looked like they've been in the aluminum longer than I care to imagine. Usually good food and good service, will still go back though!
