“Came across this gem while waiting for school pickup near CCHS. Kiwano - such an unusual name but it is a fruit known as the horned melon. What a refreshing cafe...husband and wife team with their very first endeavor in the food industry. Swing, hit...HOME RUN!!! Their main purpose is healthy but with a good grasp of flavor and taste! The majority of items on the menu are hand and mind created by this duo. We tried a create your own salad (romaine, ground beef, red cabbage, carrots, cukes, corn, olives, feta with tahini ginger dressing) - very large salad enough for 2 meals), Birthday Cake smoothie and a Pitaya smoothie bowl ($40). Kids thoroughly enjoyed their smoothies (note - flower is beautiful touch to an eye catching pink dragon fruit smoothie bowl, but it is non-edible). Only suggestion was more fruit and granola for the amount smoothie in the bowl. I loved my salad - the home crafted dressing was definitely the star! Friendly staff and very knowledgeable about menu and ingredients. So ask if unsure what it is in their dressings - they will know! Thanks for a great first meal! We will definitely be going back to try their Jolene (as long as it comes with the song) and Miss Mac Salads.”

“Came today for the first time and my experience was very good. This is a small location with cute decoration and great service. We order a shrimp and tenders basket with fries and a tender slider with Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was steaming hot and creamy and absolutely loved it. The chicken tenders were good but the boom boom sauce made them better, the shrimps were also good. The fries were a bit salty for my taste so next time I might order them with light seasoning. Everything was made to order and came hot. I would recommend to try.”

“We were excited to see that this location was open, so we placed an online order for pick up. I liked seeing that there were some good deals available, and we chose to get the large, two topping pizza and cheezy bread for 14.99. I feel like the food was well worth the price I paid- our toppings were chicken, half green pepper, and half anchovies. The ingredients looked fresh, the chicken looked real, and best off all, the crust was crunchy! They didn't skimp out on the cheese either :) our order was 100% accurate and ready on time- plus the employees were very kind! I will absolutely be returning here in the future, and look forward to trying some of their other offerings!”

“My husband and I stopped in today, while our kids were at Karate. Very pleased to have this restaurant in our neighborhood! Met at the door by the manager, and shortly after settling at our seats at the bar, Mr Wolf came by and introduced himself...super nice guy. Menu selection was great, nice choices. We tried a few apps since we only had an hour, all were excellent. Met a lady who eats at the restaurant 5 times a week; she raved about the entrees; will have to try those next time. Drinks were also well made. Loved loved loved the Pianist, nice selection of lively songs, friendly but not too loud. And to top it off, every lady received a rose....on a random Friday evening. Now this, this is how you are to be treated at a restaurant. I can't wait to go back. It did get a little packed, so I would recommend making a reservation if going at peak dinner time.”

Only suggestion is, don't order the "salt" bagel because it is simply a plain bagel dipped in table salt (we can do that at home) However, the location is convenient, the atmosphere pleasant and, as I mentioned, the variety extensive for such a small shop. “Wonderful bakery, everything vegan including whip cream for coffee. So hard to find. It's west which means a world to us living in Davie, Pembroke Pines, and Cooper city. “It's not my favorite place to eat, but it's not the worst food either... I don't eat out very often with fast food restaurants lately, but Wendy's is one of my go to places when I'm hungry, especially if it's late typically for me, and I want food in a hurry! I've always enjoyed the option of different choices instead of french fries. They have a really good selection of things to eat and the vanilla shake is good too! “My younger son and I had lunch here a few weeks ago, as he had received a free sub MVP reward from Basketball and he wanted to try it out. I will say that the food was great. We had a meatball sub and Turkey sub and both were delicious. The reason I took one star away is because I was not greeted when I came in, neither worker was smiling, it just felt very lacking in the customer service department. The boy was friendly when he made our subs but the girl had absolutely not an ounce of customer service. She checked me out never once made eye contact and was not in any way friendly. We ate lunch and when I got up to leave they were both sitting in back on their phones at which point I yelled to them "bye thank you!" and got a "bye" yelled back. Now, I have a teen myself and I understand that they can be moody but they are representing this business and from the reviews I can tell I am not the only one who has had this experience. If they don't like their job, there are plenty of Cooper City kids looking for jobs.”

“Happened to be driving by this place on my way home from work, and ended up stopping in for takeout. I really wanted a Cuban sandwich and a cafe con leche. The place was very nice and clean on the inside. The staff was extremely nice, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I enjoyed the sandwich and the coffee, and I would definitely go back. I drive by this place often, and I'm actually surprised I haven't stopped in before. I'm interested to try other things on their menu.”
