This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I come as often as we can. Everything we have tried is delicious. The service is amazing and she always recommends amazing options. I never write reviews for places but this definitely deserved my time. Go! You won’t regret it.
Our first time experiencing Peruvian cuisine and it exceeded our expectations.
Food were well presented and tasty. Ingredients seems to be all fresh and had a well balance flavor.
Establishment is small with only a few indoor and outdoor seatings. Service was friendly but could have been alittle more efficient or faster. Will for sure give it a try the next time I’m craving for Peruvian cuisine.
This is the best Peruvian restaurant by faaaar! The ceviche was absolutely delicious, the corvina fish is so fresh and you can tell the ingredients are of very good good quality. I really enjoyed the pisco sour and my daughter loved her fresh fish kids meal. We also
Had pescado a lo macho, it was sooo good I dug in before taking a picture
This restaurant is definitely worth coming to. The chef and service is top notch.
Rated 4.9.Visited the Deerfield Beach Fla location, and decided for a late lunch. Picked Pukara Peruvian Restaurant which symbolizes community. There's plenty of paid parking all around the area. We were welcomed by a staff member outside, who was very friendly, and offered us seating outside or inside. We sat inside, and it's not a big place however the decor is quaint, and professionally done, very modern. Ordered a Peruvian beer Cristal perfect, cold for the moment. They offer juices, wine, and Pisco sour flavors. There's no bar. The server was friendly, attentive, and opened for questions, suggestions. Ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer soft, tender, portioned for 2 highly recommend it, accompanied with corn, potatoe, and a parmesan cheese based sauce, a bit greasy the sauce. As the main course ordered the fish Ceviche, cooked to perfection, delicate, tender, tasty accompanied with sweet potatoe, which was soft, corn which was sweet to the palate, enjoy the broth or juice that engulfs the plate, delicious! Also ordered the grilled red snapper strips, which melt in your mouth with maduros (sweet plantain), and added a fresh, green salad to it, enjoyed it very much. Ordered a serving of Chaufa seafood rice . This is the equivalent of fried rice Peruvian style. Ordered the Causa de camaron (shrimp). Causa is mashed potatoes, layered with shrimp, avocado and topped with a mayo/ketchup sauce, all around as you dig into the dish it's feels as if shrimps are falling into your portion endlessly. There was no room for dessert, which i am not sure if there's any. Decided to try the famous Pisco sour mix passion fruit no sugar. There's plenty of sugar in the drink itself made out of grapes, mixed with the passion fruit, and cinnamon sprinkled on top. The first sip did not get my attention, and ultimately it was flavorful, experienced the sweet/sour taste of it. Be careful it will sneak up on you. Met the owner of the Restaurant, Fabrisio, who provided a history of what Pisco is, and the different types of grapes that can be used to prepare it. He was very approachable, attentive, and committed to providing excellent customer experience. There's another location in Boca Raton. I will definitely return to this authentic Peruvian heavenly place called Pukara. It lived to its Peruvian heritage, come and enjoy its delicacies!!
One of the best restaurants in Boca Raton hands down!! We been in many Peruvian restaurants but quality and service in Pukara surpasses all others. Great Job!
