Greek Islands Taverna

We went here a couple of weeks ago during lunch.Everything was clean and bright. We sat at the bar for a quick bite and glass of wine.The service was friendly. The food times were quick.We had the gyros and everything was so fresh.We also had Horiatiki Salad. Again, very fresh and a good size portion.

This place is consistently packed, and I have avoided it thinking it was due to tourists. Boy I was wrong, it is packed regardless of season so when some friends asked us to join the for dinner we accepted. Place is crowded despite the several tables they have (its big inside, they maximize interior space). We had:

Hummus with bread; cant go wrong with hummus, was great.
Octopus; cooked to perfection, super tender, crispy-charred. Some of the best octopus i have ever had, for its simplicity.
Salad for 2; enough to share, very good and simple.
1/2 chicken roasted; it was great, it came with potatoes and green beens.

We were beyond full by the time we left. We already know what we will do next time; share 1 salad and have 1 octopus each.

This place is amazing! I usually have the gyro for the lunchtime special and it's amazing for the price. The hummus is to die for.. completely recommend!!! My coworkers and I come here for lunch at least once a month

Went for my boyfriend's cousin's birthday (bunch of Albanians). They love coming here, felt like I was back in Albania. The food is fresh and delicious. They server (who spoke Albanian) gave us excellent service. Highly recommend!

This was an impulse stop while driving by. The settings was nice. One thing there was no menu for kids. The food was good, the service was great. The others that I was with who eat meat enjoyed there meal, not much for none meat eaters like me.
