Alvin's On The Beach

BEST PLACE ON THE BOARDWALK!!! Me and my husband just moved to the beach and heard about this place from the cutest waitress riding a bike promoting Ladies night on Wednesday (girls drink for free)!!!! We went and had such a great time. The owner Alvin is also THE GREATEST business owner in Hollywood. Me and my husband look forward to seeing the success of this place and will return!

So we are celebrating our anniversary and the meal was awesomely done. We split the chicken and waffles and then the grilled vegetables, they were very well done. The flavors in both were explosive. The service was great, Thank You Chris. If you are in this area you should stop by... the lemon drop martini was a really good. We will be returning for another meal.

My husband and I had one of the best meals we have ever had on vacation! We had the chicken and waffles and grilled vegetable platter; so amazing! Our server, Chris was so attentive and awesome! The ambiance inside was extremely nice and the mood was on point. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

The best restaurant in Hollywood Florida, we came to the beach and we happened to stumble upon this amazing restaurant. The staff are beyond friendly and so attentive. Ask for christian because he was such an amazing waiter. I hope you get the chance to meet the owner too because he was so wonderful!!! Not to mention the amazing food, the pasta was so delicious. The live music was a perfect touch to the scenic beach view. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits the beach.

Food is great, service is good, particularly their waitresses are phenomenal, great energy, professional, and right amount of attention. These are the improvement opportunities I see:
1. The music: It is a little loud outside and a little loud inside and they aren't usually playing the same thing, therefore, every time anyone opens the door, the indoor sitting turns into a loud noise. My advice: leave the music outside, and let the people inside have a conversation.
2. Uniforms: it is hard to tell who works for the place and who is a "friend" of your waiter. Adding some uniforms will help introduce the place to the public.
3. Modesty panel: please separate the bathroom door from the rest of the sitting area. A modesty panel could do the trick.

The place is new and finding its footing. It has great potential, it just needs a little fine tuning.
