Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

This place was amazing! I can’t tell you how much fun we had with bibs and gloves enjoying the best Cajun boil! Everyone was so nice including our server Jimmy V! Amazing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for anyone including families. I have 3 boys and they love seafood! Very laid back and friendly.

I’ve been here over 10 times within 3 weeks. Awesome seafood. If you are tired of meat, this is the place to be for all your seafood needs. The 2 for 1 drinks, happy hour between 4pm and 6pm is awesome. The bartender is great and Mike, the sever is a very great support to help you decide on what to eat. Great ambiance and very clean. I’m really hooked to this place, no kidding.

Walked into the restaurant with an amazing vibe. There’s music playing and a very nice atmosphere. Food was spot on and seafood was extremely fresh. Customer service was great and definitely coming back again. I 100% recommend you guys checking this place out. You won’t regret it :)

I went to Hook & Reel on the Southeast corner of Commercial Boulevard and University Boulevard in Lauderhill. I had a medley of seafood muscles clams crawdads with potatoes and corn in the medium spicy sauce. It came out hot and perfectly done. The spice was just right also it wasn't too hot and not boring like a lot of restaurants do. So many restaurants dumb down the spice. I guess they figure that if they make it weak people won't complain that it's too hot. But their medium was just where it should be. I would imagine the hot is pretty hot. But when people order hot they should expect hot. It's the best seafood I've had in a long time it was really fresh you can tell right away when Seafood is not fresh and this sea food was great. They had a DJ for the evening and he did a great job. After dinner I had a couple of beers at the bar and talk to the owners. All the help and the owners were really nice I felt welcomed. If you like seafood this place is a must go to. I will definitely be back.

It was our first time coming here. The ambiance was lovely. It was fun, clean and new. The hostess was very nice and polite. We had two small boils the mussel and shrimp. They were both delicious. Big John made sure we were taken care of and made us feel special. Can't wait to bring my mom next time. Thank you Hook & Reel staff for the wonderful experience !!
