“Really glad I found Poké Olu! I was craving poke and came across this new poke option, and it did not disappoint. Everything tasted delicious and fresh - the ahi was great and I loved the Tomato Kimchi salad (super unique!). The bowl options were very healthy - I especially liked the radish and pickled onion. The olu sauce on the Ahi was really good and worked great with the rest of the bowl. Excited to order again to try more of the add-ons.”

“Stopped here 5-10 minutes after they had closed because I was in the area but was not aware of their closing time. There was an associate Sofie who was VERY helpful and allowed me to choose one of the cupcakes they had. I must say that is SERVICE! However, I didn’t really enjoy the cupcakes and I probably won’t return. It was my first time trying vegan anything! They weren’t horrible but they just were different! My co-worker recommended them to me. Maybe I didn’t get the full experience but anyhow- shot out to Sofie! You rock!!!”

I was expecting to have great Italian coffee to finish the meal but was disappointed. We had sangria and it was outstanding. I always like getting Hibiscus tea when I go to places like this and sometimes it’s REALLY good but the other times it is not good. They say it depends on who makes the batch.. maybe then teach the other people how to make it the better way? And the horchata tastes sour one time like no good. Then the other time it was good. The inconsistency is upsetting cause I do like the place and want to support them but they need to fix a few things”

“First of all, the guys that work here are super nice! I always get falafel pita, and I have been here on several occasions. I enjoy the salad bar; I can compare both this location and Boca, there they have more options, but I like the quality here at this location and the way they make their carrot salad. I tried to go when they are not busy because my only caveat is that they promote items as vegan, and I have seen them touch meat and then touch vegetable items that they use. I am sure if I asked, they will use new/clean tongs and put fresh salad in. When they are swamped, they do not pay attention to what they touch and mix... for a vegan, this is a no-no! This is one reason I no longer go to the Boca location even though it's close to my job. I like supporting this place, so as mentioned, I do try to go when it's busy to avoid the contamination of meat products in my food as I can watch what they are doing. I hope that they begin to take their vegan advertisement a little more seriously, just as they would with kosher not mixing dairy and meat. Other than this, the food is excellent! I will be going again and again because their prices are very fair and a great deal. I do recommend this location either way.”

“I was invited by friends to this restaurant as they wanted me to experience Persian Food for the first time. My hosts vouched for its authenticity. I enjoyed the appetizer platter which included hummus and eggplant. My main course was a collection of three different stews which included lamb. Each was different from a more savory flavor to a sweeter option which included crushed walnuts. These dishes were served with a platter of rice. I really enjoyed the flavors. After I was persuaded to try the ice cream which was different and delightful. The staff were friendly, efficient and charming.”
