Laishley Crab House

Food was good. Service was good, just very pricey. I've had better food elsewhere for less money. The meal was served alcarte with no salad or even bread on the table. You paid for the view. Red lobster was better and cheaper. Wouldn't return at all.

Great location and views with a nice menu selection specializing in seafood. Our meals were very good with large portions. Our server was friendly and professional but the same could not be said of the hostess. When I approached to ask for a table, she turned around to get menus but didn't say anything. After about thirty seconds, a second hostess said we would have to wait a bit to see what was available outside, which is where I asked to be seated. We were then seated at a table away from the railing that overlooks the water even though there were open tables along the railing. We were the only party seated away from the railing. I didn't make an issue of it but I did wonder what was the rationale.

What's not to love about Laishley Crab House? Let's talk about location. It is set on the beautiful Peace River. The scenery never gets old. I love to sit on the balcony it make me feel like I am on a cruise ship. My favorite top 3 items that I love to order are clam chowder, avocado crab salad with ginger dressing and sushi of all kinds. Grab lunch or dinner. I promise you won't be disappointed.

We met family here while we were on vacation. None of us had been here and I just happened to stumbled on an online review that was very positive.

We arrived semi-late (8pm) on a Saturday but were seated promptly. All 3 of us loved our entrees. I really enjoyed my conch fritters. We can't wait to return!
