Main Street Restaurant and Bar. Beverly Hills, FL. Yes, there is a happy hour. Yes, this place is closed Mondays.

This place is in a fairly long and curving strip mall that also has offices for the Sheriff and the local congressman -- he's a male. There's a Dollar General, a Thai restaurant and a donut shop.

At the Main Street Restaurant you may choose well-lighted or dark, cave-like areas to dine in. The darkest zone is near the bathrooms. My nephew prefers this area. A well-populated bar is here where it seems mostly beer is sold but liquor may be available. I'll find out.

The least expensive option here is to eat from the lunch menu, available until 4 pm. Items such as the reuben combo or the giant cheeseburger are very reasonable. The latter seems an exceptional buy. These and other lunch items come with fries and a drink. The reuben also comes with Cole slaw, but the server often forgets to serve it.

Dinner dining is relatively expensive here. You'll wish you'd come before 4 pm. Beer is well-priced, especially during happy hour.

There is plenty of free nearby parking and entering and departing the area is easy. The many recycling bins that were once close by are no longer there. A picnic table or two are out front of the restaurant, but these don't seem to be intended for diners.
