“I’ve been going to this place for the last six years. I go every Friday for wings but my last experience I had was unfortunate. Now I know there’s rules and laws about alcohol and people bringing alcohol purchased at other places. When you get rid of my favorite draft beer and you offer to get it from the Bait house that is very nice! So when I decide to save them the trouble and go to the bait house and pick it up Myself with receipt in hand showing where I bought it, and then get reprimanded by the bartender even though I had a receipt from buying it from them, you shouldn’t have to feel humiliated in front of everybody at the bar and be scolded like a child. Even the guys at the bait house said it was OK! Then to be told that locals are going to be barred from the Shed if they keep bringing their own alcohol. Granted I understand this must be a problem and you’re in the business of making money but … I bought it right there! Needless to say I was sad and embarrassed because I love this place and I’d hate to stop going just because I’m getting treated as the so-called “ locals“ that want to break the rules! I’m far from that and I’ve never had a problem before. I didn’t think buying it from the bait house was bad. She should’ve just charged me the difference for a bucket and a cup and I would’ve been happy to pay it! Gator if you read this not all locals are bad and break the rules. When they’re seasons of downtime and not Scallop season or fishing tournaments, the locals are what keeps you guys going!”

“This is a favorite local seafood restaurant with a Cajun flair. We went at 3:00 on Saturday and the place was packed. They do not take reservations. I called ahead to see if they had birthday specials and if they would allow me to bring my own cake. They were very accommodating and yes they do have a bread pudding for birthdays. After our meal, they brought the cake out and got the whole restaurant to sing Happy Birthday to my dad who turned 80. The staff provided awesome customer service and the food was delicious and prepared well. I have never had a choice of how I wanted my oysters fried. They give you 3 ways; light, medium, to hard! A big shout out to our waiter Duke! Thank you for your great service! My dad was a happy guy!”

“What a great place. I ended up stopping here because it was the only place I could find that listed the small scallops that the Crystal River area is known for on their menu. It was exactly what you want out of a seafood dive: amazing seafood, at a great price (considering what you're getting). For the reviews that say it's pricey, of course it's pricey for a food truck... it's fresh seafood straight from the bay. It's better than some pretentious seafood restaurant that might also have fresh seafood but at four times the price. What more could anyone want then perfectly fresh seafood, cooked wonderfully, on a location where you're sitting on the water outside at picnic tables.”

Bathrooms are out the backdoor porch and around the corner and could use some serious TLC, seemed grungy and run down. Assorted homemade salads and Boar's Head deli meats are sold. I had the Cuban and it was warm, crispy and delicious. I only ate half and they wrapped the other half to take home. I will be back.”
