Boondocks Grill & Bar

My son and arrived for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was nearly empty since we were there between lunch and dinner but since it's not on a main street I'm sure it doesn't get the visual attention like most restaurants. I ordered the coconut shrimp and was not disappointed. Shrimp was jumbo and had the right amount of coconut. Garlic green beans were good too. Our server was attentive but lacked in personality. He might of been having a bad day. The manager came around and asked us if everything was good and thanked us for coming in. Even the hostess opened the door for us when we left. I'm sure it's a different atmosphere when busy. I will go back.

I am actually shocked this doesn't have 5 stars!! The food... Omg! Crab cakes are perfect, chicken tenders were big enough for for 2 or 3 people! Even the fries were so good! The drinks were so strong we actually had to sit for a while before going home. I really recommend the fried shrimp and/or crab cakes! Service could have been horrible (which it wasn't) and I'd still go back for the food ????

This is a great place to sight see and see all the decorations. The food is good too and they have plenty of room. We have traveled by this place for years, but this was our first visit. They have live music on the weekends and there are enough TVs to see whatever sports you wish to see. You should go to at least see the building. It's on Henley. We'll try this again, soon.

What a beautiful place to eat. The handmade woodwork throughout and Rusty tin ceilings. The owner is such nice people and so are the staff. The food is delicious. I recommend anyone wanting a good place to eat this is your place

Stopped here on poker run and decided to have a bite while we were here. Service was fast and the food was good. Or waitress was attentive, but did not bother us. The manager stopped at the table to make sure everything was great. The food is a little pricey, but the portions are a bit larger. The decor and atmosphere are great!
