Dorona

We attended Dorona for our Naples Ferrari club dinner event! It was as always excellent. Food, staff and ambience.
Thank you again to the owners, chefs and wait staff who made our event so enjoyable.

I’ve been here a total of 4 times now and the first 2 visits were 5 stars outstanding! The food is very consistent and always delicious. My rating is a 4 for a couple reasons and I wanted to write this review to bring some attention to the small issues I encountered. The first two times I came the drinks were some of the best handcrafted cocktails I’ve ever had. I just had a dirty martini and lemon drop but they both tasted perfect and I couldn’t wait to go to back to have them again. I went for lunch on my last visit and the lemon drop tasted like the shook up vodka and put a tiny splash of lemonade in it. It was gross. I asked for some lemons and simple syrup to sweeten it but i couldn’t get it quite right and basically forced it down. I went for my birthday dinner and I asked for a dessert menu but before I could order they brought me carrot cake. I hate carrot cake so I didn’t eat any and went home without a birthday dessert. I just wish I was able to choose something I liked rather than being brought that. And the last thing is I went for lunch with my grandma and son and my son needed to be changed but they had no where for me to change him which resorted me to changing him on the bathroom floor. Not cool. It’s very simple to install a baby changing station. But besides these things the food has been awesome and every server I had has been the best! They have an amazing staff and don’t disappoint in that department. Just wanted to bring up these issues so I hopefully they can be fixed for the future. Especially the changing table!

Delicious food and fantastic service! Also great craft cocktails. Management is amazing. They have visited our table every time we are in dining. The chef is top notch too!

Group of us ate there to celebrate a birthday. The steaks were good but not excellent. Lamb chops were a little over cooked. Prawns were huge and delicious. Meat and cheese platter was on point. Sauces that came with the meat were full of flavor but I rely on seasoning on the steak to win me over and felt it lacked that. Good meal but not worth a hundred a person in my eyes. $$$

My parents have raved about this place however my first experience wasn't the best. My steak was raw and my father's steak was raw and tough - the management was super helpful though so that was a highlight along with our server Ester! I will be back for another experience and hopefully a better one.
