“We were a party of 6 for a birthday/family celebration on March 22, 2020. This was our first experience with 1500 South and it will not be our last. We had perfect service from everyone. Our waiter, "Lou" was especially helpful and professional. Each item ordered from the menu was perfect. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and felt as though it was our own private space. We could all hear one another, which is rare in many area restaurants. We did not have to hurry and staff made sure that we had everything we needed for our dinner together. We even got to hear the live (VERY GOOD) music, which was a plus. What a relaxing and fun way to have a wonderful dinner!”

“I enjoy this restaurant a bit more than my husband as I love seafood - and he does not. However, he usually finds menu items that please his palate, so no complaints about the food or selection. We typically enjoy prompt and friendly service, so we were a bit surprised when service got slow at times during our meal. We were there with another couple, who also enjoyed the food, but found service somewhat off today. I expect service may return to its usual level of satisfaction. UPDATE: Service had returned to its usual high level as we expected.”

“Found this wonderful local restaurant by luck while visiting Naples for the weekend. We ordered fried oysters as an appetizer, and they were by far some of the best oysters we’ve ever had. I ordered broiled grouper and shrimp and it was delicious. My husband ordered the sirloin steak and fried shrimp and the steak was more like a fillet rather than a sirloin. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and especially the Keylime custard pie for dessert. Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Naples. When we visit Naples again, this will definitely be our go to place!”

“So so so very delicious. This was my first time coming here and I must say that I am impressed. I had a Reuben, but substituted pastrami for the meat. It was pricey, but well worth it. I was only able to eat half of it. Just look at the picture and you'll see how big it is. The onion rings were fresh and crunchy. And best of all it was pretty darn quick. I hope everything else on the menu is just as delicious because I will definitely be coming back.”

“I've been to this location 2 times and each time there seems to be a very odd smell inside the building and it's also very humid inside. I'm not really sure why it smells and its humid but it's a real problem. On to the pizza though, the first pizza I had was just plain undercooked and very disappointing. The dough was chewy and mushy and very unappetizing. I digress though and decided to give it another shot. The 2nd time the dough was cooked nicely and the crust was delicious ( the best part lol). If you decide to eat from this location I would recommend just getting it delivered or carrying out and ask for it cooked well done or it will come out undercooked.”

“Every time I go to the subway this in the plaza on the corner of Bayshore and 41 I have an excellent experience! Every worker (Especially a woman who works there named Lata) treats me with the utmost respect and my food always comes out perfect! Today I ordered a meatball sub on the cheesy Italian bread and I asked for light sauce and they always listen and my meatball sub is never soggy it's always exactly how I want it. I add bacon and the bacon is always cooked to perfection when I've gone to other subways the sub never comes out the way I like it this is the only Subway where they can get it right. And on top of that they have incredible employees working there. I really enjoy dealing with an employee night named Lata. Lata is incredibly compassionate and kind, all the whole being efficient and professional. There can be eight people in line and she gets everything done under pressure of the line without losing her cool. She always stays calm and collected, and my sub is always made to my liking. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible this Subway is in what an asset Lata is for the franchise as a whole. I'm not sure if she's a regular worker or if she's a manager but she definitely has leadership skills that show. I don't know her at all other than coming into Subway but I'm disappointed when I stop in and she's not working. Sometimes just talking to her for a minute or two brightens my day. I don't understand how some people are giving one star for the subway. I think this place is incredible! This is the best Subway in Naples! It's located in gulf gate plaza. I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys a good sub now and again. And if you go there and have a great experience leave a review. I own a business myself and Google reviews are highly important to me. And weather I think a place is amazing or I think it's awful I try to do a review to let people know whether it's a great spot to stop or not in this place is supreme compared to other places.”
