Country Skillit

Friendly and welcoming. Staff was great . We ordered the country skillet breakfast, one bacon and one smoked sausage , it was great and the portions were large. Great meal for the price. Felt like family. Highly recommend for great food and service.

Ms. Pam is awesome! Over the past several years she has developed a relationship with the kids and watched the grow. She always provides excellent service!

I like going to local diners because it gives a nice variety of food. This place has a fairly small menu though.

I decided to get the Hamburger because it said it had a half pound hamburger patty. They were right! This is a large hamburger patty that is very much real actual fresh ground up hamburger. I haven't had a fresh real hamburger from a restaurant in a long time.

I also got a side salad which was pretty standard fare but that hamburger was homemade and huge!

I love side of the road diners. I travel a lot for my business. Sadly, this was a disappointing stop for us. The staff was super friendly, albeit slow (and only a small handful of local patrons inside). The biscuits are not made fresh, the French toast was soggy and undercooked, and the home fries were fried mashed potatoes...
Not a recommended stop for road weary and hungry travelers.
Note to the owner: treat your out of town patrons as locals. And quality check plates before they leave the grill area. Being understaffed is not a good excuse for poor food quality.
