“When we choose Subway this one is our location because of the proximity to our home. It’s normally staffed with one person and tonight was no different. The Guy we usually see wasn’t there. A Sweet Lady (Annie) helped us tonight. She got everything perfect and made small talk about my Daughter in the meanwhile. The “register” was being a pain so I sat and ate, she was having to reboot it. When it came back online or whatever she said everything went through with our meal charge. All I can say is that despite it being frustrating (I’m younger than her and get frazzled when my work computer acts out!) she never skipped a beat and she showed no signs of any mishaps. She’s a class act!”

“So I'm sitting in my semi headed home. I've been gone for a while and I sit here thinking about Pampy's. I can't wait to get home and head over to get my fill of great Cuban food. From my personal experiences I can only say great things about the food and the people there. The reviews under 3 stars have obviously (to me) never been there. From the tamales to the sandwiches to the pork with black beans and rice everything is tremendous. You won't find a better Cuban coffee for 100 miles. Sometimes they are out of a small item or two, but for a small business like them it happens. Locals need to support a place like this before its gone. Travelers you will not regret the very, very short trip off of I-75.It blows the Wendy's away for less money. Give them a try. Even if it's for a quick coffee. There was a Cuban restaurant I went to for 20+ years before I moved up here. I don't miss them.”

“Someone asked if it is worth the drive? YES, GREAT FOOD. Staff great. Pecan cobbler was fantastic. Don't drive by and miss this place. Stop and enjoy. Green beans and collard greens are great. Fried food is a light tasty batter, doesn't detract from seafood taste. Plenty of food, you won't leave hungry. Prices are very reasonable.”

“Very good i liked the ice a lot and it was really cool I liked the ice cream it tasted very good I also like how they were games on the side of the store so you can actually play while you wait for the food the only problem is that there are bees out there and because they keep getting in your ice. You can also get a little pup Puppy Bowl that has like chicken or peanut butter ice cream just for your dog and that was great because we bought our dog here and it was only for a dollar”

“We've been looking for months for a true Cuban sandwich and have been very disappointed many times, until now... This place is amazing!!! The sandwiches were reasonably priced and the most awesome Cuban sandwich we've ever had!! While this is not your traditional sit-down restaurant, the atmosphere was festive, the staff very friendly and knowledge and the food was to die for!! It's 74 miles round-trip and I'd gladly drive it just for a sandwich!!”

We got our food quickly and they kept us with refills and checked on us and others frequently. To add to it all it wasn't as costly as it usually is for us to go to restaurants. “In Lake City,FL always good food and service. Huge hamburger, great chicken wings, love the curly fries. Dad always gets a Reuben or Plilly Cheese steak and I've never heard him complain and it's all you can do to eat it all. They just need to have a better selection of desserts. I'm usually to full to eat dessert but when I want some there's not much to pick from.”
