Safe Harbor Seafood Market & Restaurant

I love this no frills seafood restaurant and fish market! I love that there is an fish/seafood market here. You can buy your seafood and seasoning to cook at home or you can order & have food prepared. You can eat there or take your food out. If you decide to eat there, sometimes the line is long and tables are limited. The food is excellent and worth the wait.

Whenever we visit Jacksonville we head to Safe Harbor Seafood for a meal. Lunch or dinner, does not matter, I know I will have a great meal. Many times during the lunch hour there will be a long line of people waiting to order, but the line moves pretty fast. I usually get fried local shrimp, they have a 20 shrimp plate not on the menu. My likes the scallops and that is what she usually gets.

Best fried seafood basket ever. Quite a line and wait but oh it was worth it! Fresh grouper, may port shrimp and clam strips. Nothing needed sauce! Yes folks it's that good.

Awesome seafood. I only ever get the snapper basket. Blackened. It's so good I have just never tried anything else. They load you up with French fries that are cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is not so great as it is mainly a seafood market on the dock with a few tables and chairs set up where they will cook fresh seafood for you. We had gone the night prior but the line was out the door so we went back for lunch the next day. The staff is very good at taking orders and getting your food to you. Already looking forward to my next visit.
