Whit's Frozen Custard of Atlantic Beach

Back agian, agian...! Excellent selection -- Yummy flavors. 😊 Twisted ☕ is really good.

We went here every night for a whole week. Custard is delicious but staff were miserable and looked like they hated their job. They were not very friendly and seemed super annoyed and irritated. I understand it was busy and many customers were waiting but when you are in this line of business you need to be friendly and welcoming to your visitors.

We stopped by at Whit's after an early evening walk at Neptune Beach and it was a good decision. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the Rocky Road and the Banana split and they were delicious. The vanilla and chocolate flavor were very rich and distinct. It was a perfect end to a warm night at Neptune Beach.

Absolutely delicious custard, but last night (7/11/2023) the staff were absolutely miserable. My dad tried to cheer up the girl at the register with a joke, but she wouldn’t budge. I even tipped her hoping for an appreciative smile without any luck. All of the girls working there were very grumpy and it seemed like Whit’s was the last place they wanted to be. On the second night of our vacation we chose another ice cream place in the area, which had much more pleasant employees and much faster service. I can definitely say that next time that we are in the area we won’t be choosing a place with grumpy employees- we deal with enough of that when not on vacation.

First time I ever had frozen custard at Whit’s and was not disappointed. There’s a large variety of toppings and options to personalize your own frozen custard. I was a little overwhelmed at first but thanks to the helpful employee I got their favorite order and it was delicious. Their portions are also very generous (we both got mini but it definitely was not mini at all).
I also really liked how they were highlighting some artists and giving them an opportunity to showcase and sell their work on the wall. Lovely seeing businesses supporting artists.
