Authentic Mexican cuisine is what you can expect when you come here. The atmosphere is very bright and open making for a comfortable dining experience.

I had the brisket tacos and my wife had the taquitos, which was the best she has had and being a celiac was surprised that they were gluten-free. Service was great along with the food. We might be coming back here again before we leave to try something else as we really enjoyed the food.

The most delicious meal I’ve had in Jax in a while! The truest authentic Mexican fare I’ve tasted in the States to date. The food was spectacular—the octopus was the best I’ve ever had. The flavor pairings of sauces and other ingredients were really lovely. The cocktails were delightful, and creative twists on mezcal beverages. Only negative feedback is about the physical space, which gets very very loud in the center of the room when there are lots of guests. But the decor, service, food, and drink were all terrific. Love how the menu honors authentic Oaxacan dishes! Will definitely be back!

Went here for dinner to get some drinks and small plates before heading to the beach. The vibe was really nice and a great place for dates or casual gatherings. We had Oliver as our server and he was great. The Brussels sprouts were just ok. The goat cheese was nice as was the bacon and walnuts, but the sprouts themselves were not crispy and some were not the most tender inside. We ordered the mole tacos, which were the best of the night for us with good flavor. We also ordered the pescado tacos, which were fine, but lacking more flavor. Instead of regular chopped cabbage, it would have been better with some pickled cabbage. Overall the food was fine, but nothing too special, especially for the price, which was a little high. Would probably come back for the cocktails and atmosphere.

Food: Queso dip was just melted cheese and missing the creaminess to it, 5/10. Chips are light and crispy, 7/10. However, when I come to a Mexican restaurant I expect free chips and salsa. This place does not offer them free, even though the prices for food are high.
We tried all the tacos except the mushroom. Overall 5/10. The brisket taco was the best. The mole was the least favorite. I feel like there are better taco places in town that are not so pricey.
Ambiance: Very clean and modern. Great for a date night.
Parking: Pay by the hour and can be difficult to find.

Fresh surprise in the heart of Jax Beach. We sat outside and really enjoyed the drinks and dining. I had the Octopus and shrimp tacos. We had a party of 8 and we all loved the food. Keep in mind, this restaurant just opened recently so they are working out kinks with service and longer then usual drink times. We experienced this but we will definitely be going back as this happens in my experience with brand new restaurants. The atmosphere is modern and eclectic with a great vibe!
