Maggiano's Little Italy

We came here for a date night with another couple to get out the house. When the grandparents volunteer to take the kids you make it a point to go out. My wife was craving pasta so we thought why not. The food was great and the server we had was awesome. She explained everything picturesque and I will now use the word decadent more thanks to her. The reason for only 4 stars is mainly due to the menu choices. It's not a robust menu. There are solid choices but it much variety. The chefs specialties are great as that is what I went with. It was good value for the price as well. They have some good drink choices but again just a small menu of choices as well. I'm sure they can make whatever you want we didn't ask. All in all it was a great experience. The food was great our server was great and we enjoyed our company. This made for a very successful night out. We will go again.

I have been in Jacksonville 9 months, and I am very disappointed it took me this long to go to Maggiano's. I enjoyed my meal, but I LOVED that I got to take home a second pasta dish for lunch the next day! Our service was great, and the whole restaurant was very clean. When you consider that we got 4 meals for the price of two, it was very reasonable to eat here. Best of all I didn't have to feel bad picking one dish when I wanted to try two!

Absolutely amazing, every bite was more delicious than the last. Our waiter, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, made the evening even more special. He was attentive without hovering, gave excellent recommendations, and was just the right amount of friendly and not overly personal. I can't wait to go back and try more of that wonderful food and experience that excellent service.

I have 9 food allergies. The restaurant policy is to have the chef come out to take the order for individuals with food allergies. This makes the process of ordering so much easier, and I feel much safer knowing the person cooking my meal is the one taking notes on my food allergies. The staff and managers are always polite, and respectful of my food allergies. I'm highly allergic to black pepper, so I bring my own white pepper to restaurants. Sometimes the chef will use my white pepper; other times I have to add it after my food is at the table. I like that the food is made fresh to order.

Maggiano's has a buy one take one home special on select pasta entrees. They only have this option for dine-in orders, but the entrees can be ordered to go (without the free second pasta special). These are tasty, and most of these can be made gluten free and seafood free.

Note: the take home dish (buy one take one home) is not fully cooked at Maggiano's, so you have to follow the online reheating instructions from their website (it's super easy to follow, link is on the take-home food container). This makes the take home meal come out just right! ????
