Really good food, short wait times even during busy hours. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The portions are much larger than what you get at Chipotle. I love the selection of salsas available. Free chips with every meal is a plus.
I'd rather not have to give a 3-star review for Moe's, but I just feel the need to do so. I ordered my usual Three Amigos (tacos) with the hard shell. Almost right away, the employee asked, "are you gonna get a lot of toppings? If you do, the shell is gonna break." Now, for starters, I'm not new to the taco scene. I realize the shell is gonna break at some point during consumption. That part is on me. But, if they can't load and wrap tacos without breaking them, that seems like a training and performance issue. Well, that is exactly what happened. I didn't get a lot of toppings, since I always save room for the salsa. But, they didn't have a problem stacking up what few things I did ask for. To be honest, that wasn't the problem. The failure in the process is when they wrap the foil around the shell. It was a dine-in order, so there was no reason to close up the foil wrapper. It was that "squeeze" of the foil at the end that broke the shell. So, in the end, I didn't get the pleasure of breaking my own taco shells. The employee did it for me. They get this 3-star review because they tried to limit my toppings.
Great customer service! Even better food!! Always clean and inviting! Will definitely be going back. Employees make you feel welcome!
