Wendy's

I live on Jacksonville Beach and I take my daughter to the Wendy's on 3rd St all the time. However, we found ourselves in Oceanway. We decided to grab something to eat from Wendy's. I walked in and it was more than a fast food restaurant. It was a lounge/study place/ and a restaurant. It was very inviting. Meanwhile we were enjoying our food and environment a couple came in making trouble with the staff and I tell you that the staff handled the situation very calmly and professional. 3rd Street Wendy's need to take note. Because you think everything at the beach is top notch and everyone should be professional. That's not the case. I wish we could switch. Great job Wendy's in Oceanway. Your awesome ????????

The speed (or lack of ACTUALLY) is this particular Wendy's weakest point.
AND, most importantly, if you decide to wait the long time it will take to get your meal, ask for salt free fries. If you don't I guarantee you they WILL be cold. ????
I don't get how they're cold no matter how slow or how busy they are. ????
To be fair, they're burgers, other sandwiches, & chicken nuggets & strips are genuinely hot, fresh, & well made.
Never tried the chili as the rumor is, that the meat in the chili is from unsold, leftover beef patties. Not at all appetizing in my personal opinion.
So 3 stars for the nonfry items, but no more for the eternally cold fries.

Great food but I ended up having to drive back because they forgot to give me one of my orders!

Otherwise I would give 5 stars

Place was clean, food was good. The girl at the register was training so service was a little slow but nothing to complain about. Great spot to grab a bite before getting back on the road.
