True Food Kitchen

This place is amazing! I had the roasted cauliflower and the fig and glazed onion flat bread ???? and the Spaghetti quash pizza and 2 lemon drops. At first bite I could taste the freshness and lightness of the ingredients, I was very impressed. This is the first place I’ve been to we’re I ate and didn’t feel like I needed a nap after I ate. I saw a lot of unhappy reviews and I will say this if you do not a have a desire for clean eating this place is not for you because u will not Appreciate the clean , fresh ingredients it’s a breath of fresh air from other restaurants I definitely will be a regular customer! True food kitchen is definitely a game changer for Jacksonville for all the clean food lovers.

I had a fantastic experience here at True Food Kitchen! I sat at the bar and was waited on my Cheyenne, she was sweet and helpful. I got cashew pad Thai and “the medicine man” to drink. The restaurant was clean and tables were cleaned quickly. While the food is on the pricier end of menus, it was well worth it for the experience and taste. I do plan to go back again soon! I think it would be a fun experience with a group of friends so you can all try different foods. I think next time I might also get one of their unique cocktails.

Love the concept; however execution is lacking. I was really excited and wanted to love this place as we prefer to frequent establishments that value clean eating. I ordered the spaghetti squash casserole which was very bland and boring. I didn’t even finish more than 3 bites (which went unnoticed). My husband ordered the steak tacos which were good, no complaints. My children ordered the kid’s pizza and the kid’s grass fed burger, both of which were over cooked as they had to pick around the burnt areas. Given the price, I doubt we will try again based on today’s experience. Overall poor value. We had high hopes; however left disappointed.

Recommended by vegetarian friends who love it, so we gave it a try. Nice place and friendly service. But we were confused by the menu. I had one of the veggy bowls and my wife had a Pizza. Not happy with either of these choices. Probably won't visit again.

Loved the place and the food. It was a great experience. The service could improve little bit. We had to wait a long while for a table while many were available outdoors but weren't offered the option to sit outdoors. Other thing, we had to ask three times to get a straw and then they forgot to put tofu in one of the dishes. However, overall we enjoyed the place and will probably come back and update the review.
