Went there for a birthday party. Servers were fantastic! Food was excellent. The Porterhouse and Ribeye melted in our mouths. Menu is pricey but worth every penny. Be set to spend $100 per person. Now, the location leaves something to be desired. Everything around it is "torn up or blown up!" General parking is hideous, only valet is available due to downtown repair. Overall it is a wonderful restaurant.
Had an absolutely wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner tonight here and Chris made the experience amazing. The food was absolutely perfect and they were very accommodating! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
Pricey and but quality. My daughter ordered a steak and potato. After placing it on our table, our server asked my daughter, "would you like sour cream, bacon, or cheese on your potato?" Yes to all three.
Our server then pulled out a gallon size vessel filled with butter, and scooped about a half a pound of butter on my kiddo's potato. Suddenly a tanker truck, filled with sour cream, backed up to our table and our server gushed a gallon of sour cream on that same potato. Then, a steady stream of bacon rained on said potato.
I have worked as a waiter in fine dining at one of the only 5 stars in the Midwest. I would have been scolded if I ever put so much food on such a petite woman's plate.
I have come to associate ludicrous portion sizes with sub par food in abysmal dining establishments. Not so at Morton's, where huge portions, combined with top quality food, are offered in a fine, but relaxed atmosphere.
Of course, be prepared to remove your cap, open your wallet, and take home some of that 48 oz. Porterhouse that Fred Flintstone would not even be able to finish.
Customer service was good. However, they don't seem to pay much attention to you when you're dining at the bar alone. When I was in the dining room, they were on point for Customer service expected from Morton's. I enjoyed all my meals here for the 3 days I stayed at the hotel, but found that the quality didn't always match the price. I had the seafood appetizer, Lobster Bisque, Chilean seabass, and beef brisket. The Lobster Bisque was the best in taste and quality. The cold seafood appetizer had questionable lobster pieces while the beef brisket quality seemed like something I could get anywhere.
