D&G Deli and Grill

Fairly pleasant people. I ordered the pepper steak and my lunch buddy ordered the trout fish sandwich. I got a large serving of pepper steak that came with mushrooms, peppers, rice, and this noodle type thing. The rice was cooked very flavorfully (is that a word), which I appreciated. The fish sandwich lunch buddy was also satisfied. I'm not sure if they serve soup here, she wanted soup and the people that worked there didn't say if it was offered or not. The sandwich bread was soft and the fish tasted nice. The prices were appropriate for the portion.

I enjoyed my meal and time here while I was in Jacksonville. This restaurant has the feel of an old neighborhood spot, that has been in the area for years. It seems like the people who work there know your name, and make you want to become a regular, and you always feel welcome. I definitely would eat here again!

At least once a week I come here to have lunch. They cook to order nd good. It's like family when u come in. The fresh fruit smoothie is the best.

First time here. Greeted like I was a regular. Friendly place with great food. Thought I was in an Italian deli in NYC or Philly. Ordered the philly cheese steak with fries. Big serving. Looked great and tasted even better. Whole staff was great. Definitely highly recommend and will return. Not high priced either. Two thumbs up!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I was grabbing lunch during a break while at a conference and the food came out in less than 10 mins. If I'm Jacksonville again, I will definitely be back.
