The Potter’s House Soul Food Bistro

I love this place. And it doesn’t have to be all fried, but the chips and chicken ARE delicious. We occasionally get takeout with their baked chicken and it’s excellent as well. The sides are well seasoned and portions are plentiful. The line can be a tad slow because people can’t always decide what they want before getting to the front but it’s well worth the wait.

Just got off a 5 day cruise and had one more day to be in town and needed a place to eat. Food was good, line was long, needed a long nap afterwards. Collards were spicy and yummy, cornbread was on point, only negative was my mom pork chops were thin and she was left wanting more. Cobbler was good and folks were really nice.Had lunch here today with my sister. I love southern food, and soul food, but this food is far and away the best of the best. Over the top? Nope. The fried chicken is crispy outside, juicy inside.

Old my god. If you're looking for exceptional soul food, at a very reasonable price. I would definitely try this place out. I walked in expecting great things, and great things is what I found. I've only had two chance to go once and once was enough for me to know that I will be going back. The people, service, ambience, and everything else met all of my expectations and more. I am definitely looking forward to going back as soon as I get the opportunity. And I will bring many more friends with me to enjoy the Potter House soul food Bistro.

This place has delicious food. The servers are amazingly delightful. We had a large group(about 20 people) and the servers not only ran around and catered to our every need, but also everyone else in the restaurant. I will admit i was a little skeptical about the cafeteria style line at first, but it gives you more time with the rest of the amazingly happy staff. Anyone who rated this below 5 stars, is either a liar or has some sort of grudge against one of the staff members.
